What different types of CCTV camera are there?
There are thousands of CCTV cameras on the market and I will install what the customer wants but I always recommend the cameras with a high quality picture day and night. Also the camera required for each application are different. From wide angle lenses covering the larger area to a camera that can be zoomed in to a more defined image. I would always recommend keeping the date and time updated . The footage may not be suitable for evidence as they may have an Alibi or there may be further CCTV footage showing them at different place at the same time
What are the benefits / advantages of installing CCTV?
Just the visual of having CCTV installed it’s a great deterrent. There are a number of systems on the market some allowing you to view video content or live stream to your mobile device giving great peace of mind. Can also be connected to an alarm which will alert you if there is any activity.
Is it a legal requirement to have an electrical inspection carried out every 5 years?
it is not mandatory but It is A recommendation that commercial properties have the electrical installation Condition report carried out every five years a rented property carried out every five years or change of tenancy and that a domestic dwelling every 10 years. They’ve been looking to make it mandatory for rented accommodation to have to condition report carried out every five years But this has been going on for a number of years now
