The cost of a boiler install can vary massively between makes and system requirements. You will most likely be looking anywhere from £1500+. There are a lot of variables involved one end is a budget 2 year boiler for a affordable replacement and the other is a top end 10/12 year boiler with all the gadgets and tech. How many radiators? Straight swap or a system upgrade? Does a lot need upgrading? This is all something you should discuss with a Gas Safe Registered engineer.

The cost of a install from myself starts at the £1600 price range. The boiler of choice would be a 10 Year Warranty Baxi 800. The price goes up on more requirements to the System. As in upgrading gas lines to cope, moving boilers, Boiler upgrades from your standard boiler and Cylinder to Combination boilers.

The cost of a combination boiler installation will vary massively, the boiler choice, the controls choice, does the system need a powerflush, without a site visit to measure and check manufactures requirements of chosen boiler a firm price cannot be made. As a very rough guide a straight swap combi boiler would cost around £1500 - £2500. BoilerOne recommend you ask a gas safe registered engineer to price your boiler installation.

The cost of a new boiler can vary on many factors, Type of boiler required Combi, system or heat only boiler, Brand of boilers(Worcester, Baxi, ATAG), Size of property and Location of boiler. Also factors like condense pipe route, can it be taken to a waste or soil pipe local to the boiler or will have to be pumped, gas pipes need to be sized correctly to allow the boiler to work safely and existing gas appliances need to be taken into consideration as well, so a new gas supply from the meter may be required. Heating controls like room thermostats and programmers also need to be taken into consideration which need comply with currents regulations, especially Boiler plus (combi's only). Powerflushing of existing heating system may also be required which can take a full working day to fulfil. The average price for a swap can be around £1600-£2400 conversions £2200-£3500, as already stated it will depend on many factors heating, gas, hot and cold water pipework, condense route, power flushing and controls.

The price varies on many factors : ie the size of your property, the type of boiler required, if the existing gas pipework is the correct size, if new controls are required for programming, updated thermostat required , if the heating system requires flushing etc... so always make sure you get written quotations to compare prices. On average a boiler installation like for like is between £1500-£2500 and a system upgrade could be from £2300-3500... all dependant in many factors and the additional works required for the correct installation.

Every install is different, there are many factors that will affect each job price. The boiler chosen may be a high end boiler or a cheaper budget one, the amount of radiators will affect the boiler power you require. The house and existing system layout will affect the price, if your swapping from a system boiler to a combi there is additional pipework required as would be if you wanted the boiler location changed. A top end boiler could cost as much as £2000 whereas a budget boiler can be sourced for as little as £500, keeping this in mind a boiler swap would be between £1500 - £2500 with all the extra bits required.

The cost of a new boiler installation can vary greatly due to alot of variable factors specific to your home and needs. As a very rough guide, to change a combi boiler for another combi boiler, in the same location with an adequate existing gas supply pipe you should budget between £1500 and £2500 depending on which brand of boiler you choose. To convert a traditional system to a combi boiler you should budget £2500 - £3500
