How often should a house be rewired?
I don’t believe there’s an exact timescale that a specific Electrical installation should be re-wired. It’s all down to how well the installation is maintained and monitoring the condition regularly. Signs of over heating, random tripping of RCD’s etc are a good indicator that your installation will need re-wiring. Having condition reports done at the correct intervals is the best way to prolong an installation!
What are the benefits / advantages of installing CCTV?
CCTV can put a customers mind at ease. It’s surprising how many burglaries/thefts are still committed throughout the UK! Not only does a CCTV system scare off said burglars, it also helps police enforcement recover valued goods/catch criminals. Hoping that this see’s the crimes decrease as time passes by.
What is the average cost to rewire a house?
This all depends on the specification of the customer. If it’s a basic 2/3 bed re-wire, low spec it can range from £2,500 -£4,000 with certification. On houses with higher spec lighting, under floor heating, cinema rooms etc it can get a bit more expensive! But this is all job specific and there’s always a way to quote a fair price which the customer can feel satisfied with!
