This was a postbuild survey,Heather contracts also did the pre build. They are friendly and efficient, extremely professional, and conduct the survey with no fuss or mess. They also produced the final written report,together with a you tube link for the video,quickly which enabled me to get my agreement with Severn Trent signed off. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone requiring drain services.

What should have been a straightforward survey turned out to be a nightmare beca...
What should have been a straightforward survey turned out to be a nightmare because of heavy scaling in the pipe which prevented the survey on 2 occasions. Lee & Paul were extremely patient and guided me through how to get the pipe into a state capable of being surveyed. They were able to carry out the survey on the third attempt, although there were no additional costs for the 2 failed attempts. I had to contact them again after the survey as a result of questions from Severn Trent and they were again extremely helpful in how to phase the response which ultimately contributed to a build over agreement bein* obtained. I can’t praise them highly enough and would highly recommend them.

We're a newly formed drainage company, we have heavily invested in the latest camera equipment to allow us to complete full HD reports in a small turn around time.
We complete camera surveys for home purchases & pest infestations. Both these subjects are quite personal and customers don't always want neighbours knowing whats going on in their own home. For this reason, we operate from an unmarked car. Our camera is mobile and compact, giving maximum performance with minimal size. The customer can view the survey taking place in real time utilising a tablet we provide. This real time viewing allows the customer to ask questions whilst the engineers are present on site and reduced the need for follow up questions as our engineers are happy to answer all questions immediately on site.
We also publish our reports on YouTube. These videos are private and can only be seen by the customer. We feel this is the best way as most of our customers have a touch screen phone or smart TV which is optimised for Youtube.
Our engineers are time served tradesmen, who will attend in uniform and will leave the site in the condition it was found in, if not better.

Why are my pipes making a noise when no water is running?
A constant hissing can indicate an underground burst. If you have checked the most common items that use water such as the WC isn't overflowing (which can be sometimes a constant trickle at the back of the pan, or an overflow pipe dripping outside.) No taps are dripping, shower not passing, external tap turned off etc. Then maybe it could be an underground burst, the noise would be similar to the noise your WC makes when filling. This noise will be constant and possibly get louder during the night. A simple test is to place a screwdriver on the tap top (nearest to the stop tap) and listen to the handle. If the noise sounds like rushing water, you will need to contact a competent plumber
How to deter rats from a garden?
Prevent leaving rubbish & food debris within the garden. Try and put any bird feeders up high & clear away any spilt seed. Sometimes, if a property has an outside toilet which isn't used very often, or had decommissioned pipework which wasn't removed, rats can use these as ready made homes! So ensure all underground drainage is serviceable & remove any lengths that are decommissioned. A CCTV drain survey can be used to check the condition of the pipe.
How to prevent frozen pipes?
Frozen pipes can happen to all pipes, the most common we as drainage engineers come across, are frozen waste pipes. Frozen waste pipes can occur if the pipework is partially blocked. This mass is wet and as most waste pipes are not lagged, its easily frozen, especially with a cold wind. this can easily be avoided by ensure waste pipes are clear all taps within th ed property are shut off. As trickling water on a long pipe length is easily frozen.
