Gaz came round within a couple of hours of us contacting him and diagnosed the issues quickly. He was back the next day with the appropriate parts at the exact time he said he would be there and got the work done in the time it took me to take the dog around the block!! Now we have a lovely warm house and hot water again. Amazing service- wont use anyone else in the future!! Emma

He gave an estimate, stuck to it, came when he said he would, completed the job quicker than he thought he would,was friendly, efficient and certainly knew what he was talking about. Job completed in 1 day but he came back the next day to make sure all had gone well and that we were satisfied. What more can you ask of someone - oh and he only wanted one cup of coffee all day!!!

I have been delighted to have Gaz work in my home. He is very knowledgeable and good at explaining how things work. he takes an obvious pride in his work and his pipework is a work of art, almost too good to cover up!. he was always on time, polite, trustworthy, tidy and the work was completed to time at a competitive price. I intend to have him back to complete my heating system once our extension is built.

Basically me and the missus are rubbish at planning refurbishments. Geraint got us through it. He fitted a radiator that another plumber said couldn't be done. He sorted out gas, sewerage and pipework. Tidy. Knows his stuff and is very reasonable. Also sorted out boiler which someone else fitted incorrectly. Runs almost silent now!

What is the best combi boiler for a 2-3 bedroom house?
Same as with a 4-5 bedroom property it will depend on number of bathrooms and water flow rate. Generally speaking a 2-3 bedroom will have around a 28KW combi in. There are many manufacturers giving different prices and warranties to suite the homeowners budget. An ATAG Economiser 27 will give you 12.6 litres per minute at a 35degree rise and 94% efficiency.
What is the best combi boiler for a 4-5 bedroom house?
It depends more on the number of bathrooms/ hot water usage and incoming flow rate. An Unvented cylinder is generally a better option for these sorts of properties however they're a few combi's that may be suitable. Storage combi's for one something like a Viessmann 111 or 222. They have a small storage of hot water giving better flow rates then revert back to a standard combi if that runs out. Also something like an ATAG Economiser with a built in flue heat recovery gives you better flow rate than a standard combi and better efficiency.
What is the difference between an electric boiler and a gas boiler?
A gas boiler uses natural gas supplied by the grid or LPG supplied in bottles or bulk tank. The burning of the gas within a heat exchanger heats up the water to be used for heating or hot water. An electric boiler does not use gas, generally cost more to run with less options available.
