Grant came to test our outside lighting which had not worked for years and the power to our games room at the end of our garden. We asked various electricians to come to find the faults but either they did not turn up or couldn't find the problem. Grant turned up as scheduled and found all the faults and subsequently replaced some cable and new junction boxes and installed new lighting and reinstated power to the games room. We are very happy with his work. He is professional, his work is neat and tidy and a very pleasant and experienced electrician. Highly recommended. Thank you Grant

Which underfloor heating system is best?
If you have a small room i.e a bathrooms I would go for electric under floor heating as it’s cheaper to buy and easier to install. If you have a larger room i.e kitchen extension than I would go for the wet under floor heating, although it costs more to buy and install, once installed under the floor screed it runs off the central heating system and once it heats up the floor it stays warm and it’s not an uncomfortable heat like coming from a radiator.
Are LED light bulbs dimmable?
Yes you can get dimmable LED lamps I would always recommend buying a good quality namebrand when purchasing LED lamps as I have found in the past that the cheap ones from EBay Tend to break rather too quick The next thing to do is consider on how bright you require the light to be and whether or not you would like it cool white or warm white or daylight there are many choices now
How much does it cost to replace a consumer unit / fuse board?
To price replacing A consumer unit requires a few things first I would need to come and look at the property to see the size of board needed I would need to make sure whether or not New earthing arrangements are needed I would also need to know whether the existing wiring is in a good condition or not these are all things to take into consideration when replacing your existing fuse board Costs vary depending on what works are needed and can be anything ranging from £400-£700+
