We found Lee through Checkatrade, he'd messaged me within five minutes of my request being sent out and we had an appointment booked in within the hour. A gas check and boiler service was needed before we exchanged on our house and Lee was able to advise on the service best suited to our needs. He fit us in with very short notice, providing a two hour window in which he would arrive. We weren't present on the day of the appt but we got a text update on the time he'd arrive and he whatsapped us with an update as soon as the job was done. Lee was able to complete our certification and advise us on any jobs that needed doing, as well as their urgency. We would 100% use CoreHeat again, Lee was transparent and informative. We could not recommend him any more and we will definitely be reaching out to him for any future jobs we need doing. Thank you, Lee!

Do you need a gas certificate to sell a house?
Sometimes the solicitor will ask for one I find. Sometimes they don’t. Some ask for a boiler service and not a gas safety check. Not sure why this is but I find it varies depending on who your solicitor is. But I would recommend asking for it to be done. I’ve been to many new home owners and the boiler. Needs replacing. The previous owner bodged it along to save the self money.
What are the benefits of installing an unvented cylinder?
Installing a unvented hot water cylinder has many benefits. Mainly it’s the pressure to tap. Some houses with multiple hot water draw offs can find the pressure isn’t that great. With a unvented hot water cylinder the pressure will be good no matter how many taps are open in the household
What is the best smart thermostat in 2020?
For me hive is best. The thermostat is wireless whereas nest isn’t. It’s easy to use easy to get hold of and a decent price. Can’t go wrong with it. Installation is easy clear instructions aswell if you do get stuck. And a good call centre if your really stuck. Can’t really say a bad thing about it
